Hello All: I'm out on Day #5of the WSOP Main Event, placing 478th (out of 7319) and winning $27,419... My pocket Aces ran into pocket 8's that flopped quad 8's on the flop of 8, 10, 8... The turn card was a King... I bet out 130,000 chips and my opponent pushed me all in for my remaining 160,000 chips only to be crushed and lose a million chip pot.  At least it took quad 8's to take me out and I fought the good fight. No wonder they call Aces and 8's the "Dead Man's Hand"... LOL. ESPN will air this hand and more when they televise the main event in October/Nov. I had an absolute blast and am proud of my play... Every year the California Amateur Skateboard League (CASL) recruits their top young skaters for a chance to compete in the Olympic-sanctioned California State Games, and HB's Donovan Liebelt was one of the many groms chosen to compete.... Little D finsihed in the top 6 and had a great weekend down at Chula Vista Skatepark. The opening ceremonies were held at Qualcomm Stadium, and here's a few shots from the event.... Way to go Little D!! CASL Champs at Woodward are next!!

July 12, 2010. Day #3 is over and I am doing great. I have $218,500 chips and the average is $181,000. There are 1208 players left and Day #4 starts Tuesday at noon. At 747 players the prize is $19,000+ and then grows  $$$Higher and Higher$$$ from there up to $8.9 million for 1st place. (I'm) Still in it to win it... AND NOW... "IT'S TIME!" to go to sleep and get ready to go back to WAR Tuesday! Cheers, BB.

This past weekend in San Bernardino was a weekend for the record books as more than 35,000 fans packed the San Manuel Amphitheater for the kickoff of the 2010 Rockstar Mayhem Fest. Needless to say, the Silver Star stage was going off, and we had a blast.... and hopefully you did too!!
